While many of us are still limiting travel because of the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of you are probably dreaming about your next trip from your couch. You have probably also watched way more TV in the last year than you have in years before; I know I have. If you are looking for travel inspiration or simply need a new show, I have rounded up the best travel-related streaming shows for your entertainment pleasure.

Now it’s time to kick back, grab some popcorn and your favorite blanket, and get to bingeing!

  1. Emily In Paris (Netflix)
    • Follow a young American girl as she navigates work, love, and friends in her new home of Paris. This show may or may not be the reason Paris is near the top of my bucket list for a girls’ trip.
  2. Bloodline (Netflix)
    • Based in the Florida Keys, throughout this entire series, I saw plenty of places I recognized from my trips. This show follows the prominent local Rayburn family as they try to conceal family secrets. I highly recommend it if you are into thrillers.
  3. The Crown (Netflix)
    • One of my personal favorites if you are into British history. Not only do you see a ton of famous British landmarks, you also get a history lesson with every episode.
  4. Down to Earth with Zac Efron (Netflix)
    • Follow Zac Efron as he travels the world looking for healthy and sustainable ways to live.
  5. The Lizzie McGuire Movie (Disney+)
    • An oldie but goodie. Sit back and travel with Lizzie as she spends a summer in Rome.
  6. Caribbean Life, Island Life, House Hunters International (HGTV and Hulu)
    • Follow along as people search for their dream homes all over the world. You may just be inspired to move abroad.
  7. The Bucket List Family (YouTube)
    • One of my favorite travel vloggers, the Gees! A family of travel journalists take their three kids for adventures around the world. When they aren’t traveling, they are exploring around their home in Hawaii. With new videos every Sunday, you’ll find yourself spending hours watching old videos from their many amazing trips.
  8. Street Food (Netflix)
    • For all my foodies, this one is for you. See and learn all about street food across the world. But be prepared, because you’ll work up an appetite.
  9. The Amazing Race (Hulu)
    • This hit reality series follows teams who travel around the world as they compete to win a million dollars.
  10. Our Planet (Netflix)
    • This documentary provides an unprecedented look at life on earth. This is a hit for animal and nature lovers because of the up close look at parts of earth very rarely captured and traveled to by humans.
